Hope 4 Life Uganda is proud to introduce the Safe Space Project, a transformative school program aimed at promoting Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) among adolescents in rural Uganda. By providing appropriate and age-friendly SRHR information, we are empowering 500 adolescent girls and boys in rural schools to manage their health and break menstrual stigma.
The Safe Space Project focuses on menstruation management, health education, career guidance, and school mentorships. By promoting peer-to-peer learning and training school leaders to pass on crucial information, we ensure a ripple effect of knowledge and support within the school communities.
Our project targets adolescents aged 10-18 years, with a special focus on training school leaders to disseminate information effectively. By addressing menstruation stigma and providing career guidance, we are fostering an environment where young people can thrive academically and personally.
